Lotus Eye Hospital and College of Optometry celebrated its 52 years of service to Mumbai and nearby areas on July 30th, 2023. This non-profit super-specialty eye hospital provides high-quality eye care to the underprivileged. During the event, Mr. Navin Shah, Chairman of Lotus Eye Hospital, was honored by five esteemed veteran ophthalmologists in the presence of distinguished guests, Padma Bhushan Smt. Rajashree Birla and Shri Jairaj Thacker. The ceremony, held at Mukesh Patel Auditorium, NMIMS, Juhu, Mumbai, began with a ceremonial lamp lighting and an audio-visual presentation showcasing the hospital's achievements under Mr. Shah’s leadership. Renowned ophthalmologists, including Padma Shree Dr. Ashok Shroff and Dr. Keiki Mehta, highlighted Mr. Shah’s pivotal role in transforming the hospital into a premier institution with advanced specialties and outreach programs. Smt. Rajashree Birla and Shri Jairaj Thacker praised Mr. Shah’s selfless service. The event concluded with a spiritual talk by B.K. Shivani and was attended by family, friends, Rotarians, and doctors.
