Dr. Sarita Shetty is a senior Vitreo-Retinal Specialist with over 25 years of experience in diagnosing and managing complex diseases affecting the retina and vitreous, the critical structures responsible for vision. With extensive clinical and surgical expertise, she focuses on treating sight-threatening retinal conditions with precision and care.

At Lotus Eye Hospital, Juhu, Dr. Sarita Shetty provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of retinal disorders including diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, diabetic macular edema, macular hole, epiretinal membrane, retinal vein occlusion, vitreous hemorrhage, and age-related macular degeneration. She utilizes advanced diagnostic technologies such as Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), fundus fluorescein angiography, and detailed retinal imaging for accurate diagnosis and monitoring.

Dr. Sarita treats patients across all age groups, from premature infants for retinopathy of prematurity to kids and adults with retinal detachments and geriatric patients with complicated retinal issues.

Dr. Sarita is also the faculty for masters students in the Lotus College of Optometry. She teaches postgraduate ophthalmologists interested in learning about medical retinal diagnostic and treatment procedures.
