Dr. Parul Shah is a senior ophthalmologist with over 35 years of experience in Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She is the Director of the Phacoemulsification and Small Incision Cataract training programme at Lotus Eye Hospital and has played a key role in training ophthalmologists in advanced cataract surgery techniques.

Dr. Parul Shah has trained more than 50 ophthalmologists from India and outside India in SICS and phacoemulsification techniques of cataract surgery. She has presented and shared her experience at many national and international conferences.

She won the Best Paper Award at AIOS in 1999 and also received Best Paper awards at the BOA and MOS conferences in 2004. Known for her patient-centered approach, Dr. Parul Shah emphasizes thorough evaluation, clear communication, and careful surgical planning to deliver safe, precise, and effective eye care.
